Vortex at the Autosport and Pistonheads Show 14-17 January 2010 - Official launch of Vortex Raceflo and Vortex Tuning
Following the success of the MPH Show 2009, Vortex Exhaust Technology are exhibiting at the Autosport & Pistonheads Show 2010.
With 2 exciting product launches and a raft of great products, we invite you to make abeeline for our stand in Hall 19 (Pistonheads - stand nr 19611)
Once again we will be displaying our range of performance products, Vortex Raceflo silencers, Vortex 3flo mufflers, Vortex Catalytic Converters, Vortex Tails & Tips, Vortex Tuning as well as the exclusive BendPak pipe bending equipment.
We will be offering special show discounts on a range of products and we will have our range of unique Vortex t-shirts and hoodies for sale.
Guests appearing on our stand will include John Hoad, Chief technician for the Williams F1 Team, and his son, Jonathan, a British Formula Ford 1600 driver and Helmut Koch from Koch Fahrzeugtechnik, who is known as the "Pope" of tuning in Germany.

MPH Show Report 12th - 15th November 2009
For the first time, Vortex hosted a stand at the prestigious MPH Show 2009 featuring Top Gear Live.
Positioned in a prime location in the Performance and Styling section of the show, our product display created a great interest from the general public and we were able to make some useful contacts with trade customers. Central to the display was the "cage" displaying Vortex silencers, Vortex 3flo mufflers and performance catalytic converters, together with a selection of our tails and tips.
Also on the stand and generating alot of interest was a fully automatic BendPak pipe bending machine and a Spyder three-wheel roadster, courtesy of Can-Am UK.
Over the four days, the entire Vortex staff was on hand to answer questions from visitors to the stand regarding our product lines, and professional model, Sophie Hall, also did a great job of handing out leaflets and attracting customers to the stand.
We would like to thank everybody who visited our stand and we hope that you come and visit us at the Pistonheads Show at the NEC Birmingham, from the 14th to the 17th of January 2010.

Mazda and Vortex™ Exhausts come together for new rally class
Promenade Stages Rally – New Brighton, 5th September 2009
This was the first event for the new Mazda 2 rally car. It is planned that it will be the first of many in a new one-make rally series due to be launched in 2010. This new project is being supported by Mazda Cars, Vortex™ Exhausts, Vortex™ Tuning, Vortex™ Catalysts, Furrows, Dunlop, Mintex and Automac UK.
The cars will all be built by Rallyschool.co.uk to an exact specification, which will include Vortex™ race systems, and will make for a very competitive one-make rally series in the UK. The car and series has already received much media attention in the sports press, with many enquiries having been received. Until the cars final specification is confirmed a price for the package is yet to be announced, but the car is destined to be potentially the best value for money (pound for pound) series available in the UK.
It should attract drivers both young and old, with the opportunity to show their ability in winning this prestigious new series.
The car is still in its final testing stages, and although it will use many competition parts as regards suspension, brakes, and safety equipment, etc; there are no major performance modifications being used, as the series will be based on the production car as much as conceivably possible.
Due to a late change of suspension, the car received its debut on the Wallasey MC Promenade Stages, as a shakedown event prior to its forest debut planned for early October. Driven by Rallyschool.co.uk’s competition parts supplier Neil McDonald and co-driven by fifteen year old Sarah Craddock, also on her first rally, the car ran faultlessly on the event and created much attention.

Total Auto Services gained a 30% increase in mileage on a tank of fuel on a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi. Kingston Autos fitted Vortex units to 3 RAC vans achieving a 12% fuel saving across the board.
Performance & Styling Show 2009 - March 30th
Vortex attended the Performance & Styling Show 2009 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry. This show was an aftermarket show and was organized by Performance & Styling magazine.
Over the 2 days of the event, a great interest was shown in the Vortex mufflers, as well as the other products that we are introducing to our range.
Also a number of attendees from the motor and car electronics trade expressed interest in becoming franchisees.
Hands Across The Ocean - March 18th
Vortex is proud to announce that we are now the official UK distributor for Bendpak® pipe bending machines. Bendpak® are an American company, based in California, which specialises in equipment for the automotive trade.
This partnership means that we can now supply pipe bending machines and ancillaries directly to our franchises and other customers.
We will also be developing the facility to maintain and service the machines, together with a full spares service, in the very near future.

Vortex Partners With Koch Tuning - March 3rd
An exciting new partnership is formed.
In the next few months, Vortex will be introducing ECU tuning into the product range. Koch Fahrzeugtechnik is a TÜV approved German company with a recognized track record in performance and economy engine tuning. Vortex has negotiated to become the sole UK distributor of Koch Tuning products. As part of the deal, our franchises will be offered exclusive deals on equipment and ECU mapping files. This development, will further enhance our ability to provide a total exhaust solution to our customers.
