I would like to thank all at Vortex for carrying out such a good job on my car.
I had heard of you from my partner who had a vortex system fitted to his Toyota Hi-lux which made a big difference to the car’s performance and fuel consumption.
As you know I brought my 5.7 V8 cobra kit car into you for the exhaust’s to be modified. The car already had two side pipes fitted by supposed "performance car tuning and exhaust experts" at an extortionate price which made the car very loud but did nothing for performance or consumption.
After you had fitted the two new side pipes I immediately noticed a difference in performance and the car now sounds more like a cobra than a genuine article.
As for consumption I cannot really comment as I have not driven the car very much and after all I did not have new exhausts fitted to a 5.7 V8 420BHP car to reduce fuel consumption!
Once again I would like to thank you all for your professionalism and workmanship, I will be recommending you to all at the cobra kit car club.

My previous straight-through cat-back system once provided great low rev torque at the cost of peak power, using increased back pressure. The Vortex centre silencer maintained the great low end torque and increased the mid and especially high rev torque. Peak power and hence top speed are noticeably improved. Throttle response is quicker. There's a marked improvement in fuel consumption and the system is quiet, just as I specified. During motorway cruising the exhaust is perfectly silent!!
You really can improve torque throughout the range and peak power with a Vortex cat-back system. I love it!

First of all I want to thank Vortex for an excellent job. I travelled to Essex all the way from Scotland to get an exhaust fitted to my Nissan 350z - some people would think I'm mad!!! Well ladies and gents...it was worth the trip and every penny. The exhaust has been made to the exact specification I asked for, which most garages couldn't do. Not only did they manage to fit the exhaust which most garages couldn't do, I also gain a lot of horse power and the driving is much smoother, no droning noise as most other sport exhausts and it still has got the nice sport sound to it. Best of all I have saved quite a bit of money on fuel since the exhaust has been fitted. This is a serious exhaust....thank you very much to all at Vortex.

As promised, here are my impressions after a couple of hundred miles of driving with the new Vortex exhaust fitted to my Triumph TR6/Sierra Cosworth mongrel.
I'm very happy with both the fitting of the Vortex exhaust and with the subsequent improvements in performance. I find that the turbocharger spins up more briskly and there is a noticeable improvement in acceleration, especially with small throttle openings at high speed. Overall the performance is sharper and the car is more enjoyable to drive. I've now completed the initial mathematics on fuel consumption. I had to work backwards to calculate my previous mpg but it looks as though the fuel consumption has improved by approximately 15%!

"All gears have more noticeable power. Foot down in 6th is surprising but all gears have more of an edge and flicking through the gears and engaging in each gear and putting the power down makes you want to have a gearbox full of more gears due to the pick up and you never want to run out of road."
